We provide ‘Actors for Practice’ for a wide variety of training and assessment events, contributing a range of practice-based, outcome-focused skills training for businesses in the UK and internationally.

We contribute to training projects aimed at all levels, designing bespoke interactive and practical solutions to each company’s training ambitions. Our experienced team of Actors-for-Practice, Facilitators, Project Designers and Business Coaches can add a practical skills element to any training course.

Recent projects include: Design, delivery and provision of actors and facilitators for a live and interactive conference event; a series of online workshops in communication skills; online and in person workshops in Business Insights, Managing Conflict, Improving Internal Communication, Team-Building, Managing Change, Effective Appraisals, Presentation and Impact and one-to-one coaching sessions.

Actors For Practice

We provide actors to support training events through business simulation exercises. These actors are experienced at working from a brief or scenario outline, or can improvise around a character type.

Our actors are selected for their ability to keep it natural, to provide realistic practice of real-life business and training scenarios. Many are also experienced in giving high-level feedback and behavioural observation.

We know every one of our select group of Actors and can recommend according to your specific training requirements

NLM's key role for OPSIS is the provision of role play/business simulations which enable participants to put into practice in a safe environment the tools/techniques, processes and models introduced by OPSIS Consultants and supplemented by quality/focused feedback to aid personal learning, consolidation and business improvements. We have found Maureen and her team, professional, ready to adapt and able to tailor-make role play scenarios to real life client situations.

Training and Coaching

Business Coaching
Our team includes qualified experts in business coaching. We offer one-to-one coaching sessions that will address business challenges and clarify personal goals.

Presentation Skills
Working with individuals or small teams to improve presentation skills and PowerPoint deliveries. From team meetings to the CEO’s annual speech, we have helped build skills and confidence through bespoke training led by theatre industry specialists.

Film Production
Working with a Bafta-winning UK director/producer, an experienced writing team and a creative production team, we can bring your visuals and in-house training film concepts to life.

It’s vital that the actors who work with me regularly portray credible characters – whether they are Board members or people at work - understand high-level political agendas, connect well with my clients, and give developmental feedback which adds value to the de-brief following a roleplay.  I work regularly with 4 or 5 Northern Lights’ actors. I have found them all to be highly reliable, word-perfect on scripts and roleplay characterisations, committed to getting the detail right in order to create a realistic replica of the culture my clients work in, and keen to build long-term relationships with my business.
