Maureen Magee graduated with a Masters Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Leeds. She quickly established herself as an actress in television and theatre before setting up a successful Arts Council funded international touring theatre company for which she wrote and directed touring shows for a decade.

She then founded Northern Lights Actors Management with fellow agent Angie Cowton. The aim was to create a boutique agency that would offer a more personal style of management, to understand each actor’s aspirations and to work closely with each actor to achieve their ambitions.
